Ms. Barrett made the motion that Sabillasville Elementary will remain open for the next academic school year 2021-22. The Board will appoint a three member committee to work with the community and FCPS staff to explore every option to keep Sabillasville Elementary open. The committee will evaluate Policy 200.3 and associated regulations with regard to school closures. Sabillasville Elementary will, for the 2021-2022 school year, be an open enrollment school year with potential transportation options from one or two hubs in Frederick County.
