The Frederick County Board of Education (BOE) seeks feedback on Superintendent’s Dr. Terry Alban’s recommended fiscal year 2016 operating budget updated with the proposed state funding.  The BOE also seeks feedback on a list of potential budget cuts that may be used to balance, if needed, the FY2016 Operating Budget.  Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) has attached the Superintendent’s updated budget as well as the list of potential cuts for public review and comment.

 

In addition to inviting community members to speak at the BOE’s public hearing on the budget, Wednesday, February 4, 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Oakdale High School, 5850 Eaglehead Drive, Ijamsville, Maryland, the BOE welcomes e-mail to ThePromise@fcps.org or comments through social media like Facebook or Twitter.
